In the early morning of 19th January 2018, Enactus UUM members marched towards Sintok PLKN Camp site for a Team Building session. Upon arriving at 8:30am, we had a warm up session to loosen up and stretch our joints. The coordinators for this jungle trekking activity comprised of six army sergeants who volunteer at the PLKN site. Following a short briefing from the sergeants, we then proceeded with our jungle trekking adventure at 9.30am.
The journey through Hutan Sintok was fun but arduous. We came across lots of blood thirsty leeches and other small insects. However, the most frightening part was climbing up the steep slopes as the path was often slippery and filled with mud. We had to help each other throughout the journey and stick closely to our groups to ensure our safety. It took us almost four hours to complete the journey and by the time we were done, it was already 1:30pm.
Thank you for those who joined our Team Building activity. During this time, we’ve truly cared and loved one another. It was a great experience as we’ve all worked together as a family.
